Vastushastra: A Science, Myth or Superstition??

Vastushastra: A Science, Myth or Superstition?? Part 1 The use or I would say the belief of Vastushastra in the design and planning process of any type of building even interior design has been massively increased. People try to cover all the aspects of Vastu and get suggestion from everyone near around. But the real question is what actually is the VastuShastra? People are following it, as it will do some magic for their life/business through vastu followed building. Some feels it compulsory due to superstition or fear. Fear is one of the big aspect for people to go in the wrong direction. This is where some opportunist take advantage, they run their quasy legal business through vastu books, suggestions and practice as consultant. Vastu Shastra is nothing but a science. There are three important aspect which needs to be followed in vastu shastra, first one is the orientation of building, second is the wind direction and the third one is the sun angle which means how the su...

What role could Parenting, Schooling Play in making or breaking children's future

Parenting, Schooling can make the children either an honest person, a good citizen or bad citizen, even a criminal. There is an old saying "Like begets Like". Many times I travel places by train or other public transport and see the beggars who are never handicap. Even I have seen kids at such places harassing the public begging with bad attitude, I have seen the gay community in groups demanding for money (they will not beg you), if someone gives them money its fine but if not they will curse, taunt with bad language. This might be common experience of many people, but the the real question comes to my mind is what is the source of this? The person standing in front of us whatever may be his/her age, what was his parents doing at the time of his childhood, where were the schools or the Govt agencies when these type of children really needed help. On the contrary I have also seen handicap person with no hands or even legs too, he is trying to work and survive. H...

Tribute to the Mahatma! Rural development is the key.

Today is the Jayanti of our Bapu, the Mahatma Gandhi. We wish him on his birthday, pay tribute to him. He has given not only to India but to the world so many things. He is one of few leaders who lived their life on the ideals they tried to taught. I appreciate the swachh Bharat mission of our Govt initiated by Prime Minister. Even the little success of this mission would be a biggest tribute to Bapu. But Today, The way we are trying to develop the nation, is just the reverse of the thought process of Gandhiji. Gandhiji not only liked the cleanliness but he was more concerned about the rural development. He was concerned about sustainable development of our country through empowerment of rural people. He wanted our farming to be developed as India is still a country dependent on farming. There is already a chaos in the cities due to population, haphazard development, traffic congestion, crimes many such reasons and we are still pouring them with policies and indirectly uprooting...
