Tribute to the Mahatma! Rural development is the key.

Today is the Jayanti of our Bapu, the Mahatma Gandhi. We wish him on his birthday, pay tribute to him. He has given not only to India but to the world so many things. He is one of few leaders who lived their life on the ideals they tried to taught.
I appreciate the swachh Bharat mission of our Govt initiated by Prime Minister. Even the little success of this mission would be a biggest tribute to Bapu.
But Today, The way we are trying to develop the nation, is just the reverse of the thought process of Gandhiji. Gandhiji not only liked the cleanliness but he was more concerned about the rural development. He was concerned about sustainable development of our country through empowerment of rural people. He wanted our farming to be developed as India is still a country dependent on farming.
There is already a chaos in the cities due to population, haphazard development, traffic congestion, crimes many such reasons and we are still pouring them with policies and indirectly uprooting people from rural places.
Gandhiji principles are in much need to be understood and implemented for the sake of rural development. Comprehensive development of our country can only be possible and that will be a real tribute to the Mahatma

Even I have seen kids at such places harassing the public begging with bad attitude, I have seen the gay community in groups demanding for money (they will not beg you), if someone gives them money its fine but if not they will curse, taunt with bad language. This might be common experience of many people, but the the real question comes to my mind is what is the source of this? The person standing in front of us whatever may be his/her age, what was his parents doing at the time of his childhood, where were the schools or the Govt agencies when these type of children really needed help. On the contrary I have also seen handicap person with no hands or even legs too, he is trying to work and survive. H...
