Cities are growing on the pace never experienced before. Environmental deprivation along with resource depletion is more concentrated in the cities. Urban Sustainability approach is proposed by compact city planning which is categorized by high density planning, mixed land use and efficient urban mobility. India is still lacking in this kind of concept to be not only studied but also implemented.
